Festivals
Asheville Aerial Arts has several festivals booked for the 2010 season.
We are still open to accepting invitations to perform and teach at festivals
this year. Please contact events@ashevilleaerialarts.com with your
request.
Private Events
We have numerous private events coming up, but in consideration of our
clients, we will keep these events confidential. Please contact us to get a
quote for your next event. We can make your event as private or publicized
as you wish.
Tshirts, Vests, and Stickers are for sale!
Our shirts are now for sale in a variety of colors and sizes with our new
logo designed by Eddie Gumm. The shirts are tissue t's (both long and
short sleeve) and are amazingly soft and comfortable. The price of the
shirts are $15 for short sleeve, $25 for long sleeve, $35 for vests, plus
shipping and handling, unless local pick up is possible. We also have
added a round logo sticker for $5 to our company store. Please email
Heather Smith at heather@ashevilleaerialarts.com for your order, or call
828-230-4120. If you are experiencing a dye fading problem with one of
our long sleeve tshirts, please contact us for replacement, as there
was a problem with the manufacturer.
Asheville Area Arts Council
Asheville Aerial Arts is pleased to announce its
fiscal partnership with the Asheville Area Arts
Council. This agreement will allow us to operate
under the umbrella of the Arts Council, utilizing
their 501c3 status until we are able to achieve
our own. Contributions and donations in kind
are now fully tax deductible when written to Asheville Area Arts Council,
and noted in the memo line "Asheville Aerial Arts".

practice, and explore many types of aerial arts. We are artists, setters,
spotters, trainers, directors, make-up artists, photographers, and
administrators that are striving to bring aerial acts to the forefront of the

aerial apparatus acts in silks, sling, lyra, and trapeze. We perform at large
functions, private parties, fund raisers, schools, festivals, and theatre
performances. Our aerialists are professional performers each with their
own unique aerial arts style and skills. We are continuing to develop our
skills and repertoire through aerial workshops, rehearsals, recruiting, and
experience.

With our new aerial studio opening, and the formation of a new theatrical
team, Asheville Aerial Arts is pushing beyond the horizon.
A new website is in the wings. This website is a starter site for Asheville
Aerial Arts. While we try to keep the site information up to date, we are not
able to demonstrate the talents and abilities of our troupe with basic
posted still photos. So, 2008 holds a new and exciting future for Asheville
Aerial Arts. We are currently working with Derek Olson of Peak Definition
to bring you a professional and cutting edge website to showcase our
talents and abilities. Check out Derek's work at www.peakdefinition.com
and get a sneak peak at his amazing vision and talent in photography and
website design. Asheville Aerial Arts would like to thank Mr. Olson for the
opportunity to work together in this creative endeavor. Please contact

space to our cause. We have rigs that we are struggling to store. Should
you have a warehouse space or other dry space, we would like to talk to
you about rig storage and rehearsal space. Asheville Aerial Arts is
always looking for additional rehearsal venues. Please let us know if you
have an area conducive for rigging (exposed beams or rafters and
minimum of 12 ft ceiling height). We also appreciate any feedback or

We would like to say thank you to the Jewish Community Center of Asheville and Devries Gym at Warren Wilson College for their support
and dedication to the arts. Asheville Aerial Arts has had a long standing relationship over the past decade with Warren Wilson College. We
have a great deal of respect for the college faculty, staff, and students that have stood behind the aerial arts, and helped to form the company.
The JCC has been amazing in their support of our organization in 2007, 2008 and 2009. We are proud to call the JCC a partner in
presenting aerials to Western North Carolina and beyond. Their professionalism and flexibility have allowed us to have a temporary home
during our period of transition.
