Our mission is to bring aerial arts to the forefront of our community with professional and passionate commitment to the
aerial arts.

Asheville Aerial Arts is a group of local performing artists who practice and explore many types of aerial arts.  We are
aerial acts to the forefront of the arts community In Western North Carolina.
Our biographies are available online at www.ashevilleaerialarts.com.

We are an organization run with passion and driven by the souls of our members.  We are growing rapidly so of course
our biggest challenge is the almighty dollar.  Recently, we suffered a set back with the rehearsal space we have been
utilizing for the past year.  We are excited about a future venture we have completed.  Just a few short weeks ago we
partnered with the new Multi Purpose Athletic Complex (MPAC) being developed in Weaverville.  However, while this is an
incredibly exciting accomplishment, we are without many resources until the complex is completed in 2009.

Financial assistance is needed:
        Secure rehearsal space until MPAC is completed
        To upgrade our website (we already have a wonderful company in mind who has been very patient as we attempt
to raise funds – Peak Definition)
        Cover insurance and workers compensation to keep our team members safe
        Establish more company-owned apparatuses to allow multiple performances both in and outside Asheville
        To cover costs for marketing and promotional materials.
        Develop a program for weekly youth and adult classes
        Execute an outreach program leading to a summer program for youth
        To hire a Director at least part-time to manage operations
        To hire instructors
        To bring in experts in the aerial arts world in for workshops so our talents continue to expand along with our safety
knowledge and technique.
        To purchase a big rig for the flying trapeze experience.

Should you have (or know of) a warehouse space or other dry space, we would like to talk to you about rig storage and
rehearsal space.  Asheville Aerial Arts is looking for additional rehearsal venues.  Please let us know if you have an area
conducive for rigging (exposed beams or rafters and minimum of 12 ft ceiling height).  We also have rigs we are
struggling to store.

Any feedback or suggestions are much appreciated.  Please email heather@ashevilleaerialarts.com call us at 828-230-
4120.
